Thank you for registering for the College!

Here are the important details for the program. I suggest you print this out.

To download the College Questionnaire, please right click here, then select the “Save Target As” function to save the document to your hard drive. Please complete it and email it back to me.

Times: We start promptly at 8:00 a.m. both days–please arrange to be there about 10 minutes early so we can begin on time without disruptions. We end at 4:00 the first day and 1:00 the second.

On Day One there will be a morning break, a lunch break for an hour, and an afternoon break. On Day Two, we take take two 10-minute breaks since we end at 1:00 p.m.

If you are coming in from out-of-town and are scheduling flights, please leave plenty of time AFTER the program to get to the airport. We discourage your leaving early. We do take breaks during the program.

Hotel: The hotel is holding a block of rooms for us at the $145 rate. They held at that rate until 1/30 are based upon availability so please book early. To reserve a room, please call the hotel directly at

(714) 258-9900 , and mention Business By Phone/Smart Calling College.

Lunch: We break one-hour for lunch on Day One. It’s a good time to network with fellow attendees on your own. A restaurant is on-site at the hotel, and others nearby. Day Two we work straight through until 1:00.

What You’ll Need to Bring: Course books are provided. I do suggest that you also bring information on at least two accounts or prospects that you would typically call. This information should consist of whatever you have available prior to placing a call such as printouts from your contact management system or notes from your files. You’ll use these in exercises as you prepare opening statements, formulate questions, etc. (We don’t put people on the spot with role-playing-type exercises, so you can rest easy!)

Finally, attendees in the past have brought product samples, advertising promotional items, or brochures on their products/services so the others get a feel for your company and industry.

If you have questions, please call my office at 800-326-7721, or email me at SmartCalling@gmail.com.

Looking forward to working with you at the College!
